I love Prime Time. I go there every sunday during football season and enjoy every single NFL game, quality food, a wonderful wait staff and great ownership. Its not just a sports bar though. If I have family from out of town, prime time is the best place to go for a good meal. There is no way you can leave hungry in this place. If I want to go out for some drinks? I go to prime time. 10 dollar buckets and other drink specials beat anywhere. Great place.

I ordered the New York Strip Steak med. rare. It came med. The steak was tough. with lots of white grizzle. I chose salad with my meal and asked for the dressing on the side because I like to control the amount of calories on the salad. The dressing was severed in a small container. I asked the waitress for more salad dressing. She brought another small container. When I looked at my bill I was charged 50 cents for the extra dressing. This was the first time I was ever charged for extra dressing.I won't be returning.

The steak burger was ok at best. The Mediterranean Nachos were tasty. The "gyros nachos" would be more desirable if it contained more gyros meat. Service is painfully slow. Prime Time is not a bad place if you have the patience for a "Slow Time" experience.

I hit this place on the way home from the airport after a trip, usually after 10pm. Lively crowd, good beer, good service and I like the food ( here's a hint....don't want bland food? Stop eating potato skins!)

I've been here twice for dinner, both times eating at the bar. Both times I have eaten there I ate fish. Both times I enjoyed the fish, veggies and potatoes it came with. Seems like it would be a nice place to catch a game. There are tons of t.v.s in the bar area and behind it is the restaurant section. I also agree with people that it doesn't know what it wants to be. The crowd has a very south side bar feel to it. People hanging out in beer garden, which seem pretty nice. Restaurant always has people in it, never packed but always people inside. The parking lot usually only has a few spots open. I've never had anyone I know give it a bad review, everyone always says its good. Lot of options on the menu, everything looks good. I recommend it, I went here before reading reviews on yelp. I would say stop in have the fish or try a burger. It's good, not great but pretty good. Both times I was there, I did not drink. Just drank water, waitress made sure glass never got to full.

I give this restaurant a zero, we live around the corner from prime time food use to be good now it's just terrible. Me and my wife ordered 2 steaks she had skirt steak medium rare amd i had a t-bone steak medium well. But before we had our steaks we had the platter which was potato skins, buffalo wings, cheese sticks and onion rings. Wings weren't buffalo and the potato skins didnt have sour cream. Potato skins were dried and wings look frozen like they dump it in the fryer from a frozen bag. Ok back to the steaks lol it was horrible! Both came on the side of vegetables which look like it was from those jewel-s frozen bag and they heat it in the microwave gross. Her steak was nasty no flavor and looked like it was old. My steak yiu can tell and it had freezer burn and was horrible. If you want real good food i suggest mondello city grill in palos heights besides that this place should just stick with there drinks and don't serve food. We told the manager in the back about our food he just gave us a look grabbed our plates and left. Our waitress was great i was hoping to televised them on food network but when i went and tasted the food it was not what i expected seriously......

Average food. Very, very, very, average food. They have a large menu to choose from but from what I had, not worth the money. The prices are ridiculously expensive. The staff was friendly and attentive and the restaurant is nice and clean. I won't eat here again because I respect food too much but if your looking for a place with a good atmosphere, good service, and terrible food, Prime Time is it.

Generally good food and service. Good, not great. Service of food/entree can sometimes lag a very long time. Prices very reasonable. Especially w/ specials. They do accommodate substitutions and requests very well.

Good portion to price point and fresh food, but, nothing to crave going back for a second visit. Our table had the Combo Fajitas, Chicken Marsala, Chipotle Wrap and Chicken Kabob. All were served hot and had recognizable flavors. Big menu has something for everyone but nothing "signature" enough for us foodies. Also, I found myself struggling to decide what the identity of Prime Time was...sports bar blended with a casual steak house, yet, the menu read like a Greek diner meets pizza pub with steaks on the side. I just didn't get Prime Time but would go back on someone else's dime.

My first visit here. The Prime Rib was awesome, a generous portion, tasty and cooked to the perfect temperature I requested. Our server Tanya was very polite and quite efficient. I will defintely return!

I've been coming to this place since they opened. I've always received great service from the owners! I got sick of the usual crowds around my neighborhood. Prime time has a nice environment and it's filled with flat screen TVs no matter where you're sitting. I would have to say my favorite thing about this place is there specials . Monday night $5 burgers full meal with sides delicious ! Tuesday $10 steak dinner ! Wednesday half off menu and every night after 10pm I believe there's a late night menu . Finally a restaurant that gives you great quality food for a great price. Keep up the good service guys! They also have outdoor seating and a smoking area (not a smoker) just mentioning it lol

Went for lunch after exchanging my wedding vows yesterday thought food and service would be good never been there. Service was terrible waitress never introduced herself, no napkins silverware or plates. My husband had to go get napkins from bar, cream of mushroom soup had no taste had clump of flour. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich on a onion roll, no salt no pepper, not even spicy should have been called sweet chicken sandwich. Only are 4 bites bad food. Beer was good. Husband had the steak wrap with feta cheese had 3 bites, all you could taste was onion. And the feta cheese was not salty like should be. We will never go there again. Before we even went there we were considering doing our wedding reception there, we'll changed our minds. They should only serve beer.

I love this place, I have never had a bad experience at this location. Service is exceptional. yummy soups and bread. good burgers and drinks. great space to watch the game or have nice dinner the servers here are the best. true customer sevice. oh and pink lemonades are refreshing.

They have a ton of TV's, great food, and reasonable prices...The Trifecta for receiving 4 stars and a positive review on Yelp. They even have a large area to sit outside when weather allows.

Came here for appetizers and alcohol! Potato skins were huge, Calamari was Good! Not a place to go out of the way for, but if you are In the area... It's a safe bet for good food and service.

Terrible service. The majority of the servers feel like your inconveniencing them by being there. Hello broads this is your job! Food is mediocre. The food wad good about 3 years ago but has drastically taken a turn for the worse. Have been here over 20 times and hopefully will no longer be returning. The only reason we kept Going back is because its kid friendly and the hubby likes somewhere to watch sports that we can go to as a fam. I'm taking a stand...no more!

I've been here a couple of times. The first time was with my husband and sister-in-laws. We went out to have a few drinks and to just hang out. They were able to get a table big enough for us in a reasonable amount of time. So that was nice. They had drink specials on a Saturday! Which I thought was crazy but awesome for us! There was a DJ in the restaurant area... which was a little annoying just because it was SOOOO loud and not super awesome music. I am never one to say music is too loud but this was ridiculous! And the music selection was not fantastic by any means. That is why they get 4 stars instead of 5. The second time my husband and I came here with his friend and his friend's gf. We had dinner and the portions were massive. Holy guacamole! Be prepared to take food home when you come here for dinner! Or split a plate between two people. The atmosphere is nice for dinner. And the wait staff was pretty good. I remember our server not remembering silverware one time and then water another but I think she may have been new. Over all I will come here again. The food was really good and I like their drinks!

Time for another round of Dinner with the Grandparents. My husband's grandparents are the sweetest people ever. And they are stereotypically good at the Old Folks Stereotypes. As in we eat dinner with them at 4 p.m. Prime Time is just down the road a bit -- and super convenient from 294 -- and has proven to be an excellent choice for dinner. It's nicer looking than you might expect, with lots of stone and wood, though it does have a sort of steak house meets sports bar confusion to it. Feels sort of like a Champps, but a little nicer. The menu was also sports bar meets steakhouse/Greek restaurant, with a good selection of appetizers, sandwiches, steaks, chops, and chicken. Here's a tip: Don't order appetizers unless you're either really hungry, or only eating light bites -- the dinners come with bread and soup or salad, and on our first visit, we filled up on nachos, bread, and soup and had no room for our entrees! Among the delicious food: the nachos were super-tasty. The bread was crusty but soft, with a lovely whipped cinnamon-sugar butter. The soup, oh my god. The chicken dumpling and chicken rice are out-of-this-world velvety and delicious. I don't even want to think about how much cream and butter was in it. The fish tacos were good though not great; a much better choice on my second visit was the tortilla-crusted tilapia. The crust was crunchy and flavorful, the fish tender, and the lightly sauteed spinach it came with -- fresh, with plenty of garlic and tomato -- was really, really good. The husband has enjoyed their giant sandwiches and burgers, and they have great homemade chips and fries -- cooked well and had that great crunchy outside while still tasting like potatoes. Service was good, not perfect maybe but I have no complaints. They have a full bar with Woodchuck on tap, plus a nice variety of draft and bottle beer, wine, specialty cocktails, etc.

I could easily just say this place rocks and leave it at that, but I guess these review thingies require a little more detail. Primetime is a basic little american restaurant with TVs everywhere. Think Friday's without the cheesiness. What set the place apart is it's specials and the little things. They have $10 steak dinners every tuesday, which are very nice. Their wings are some of the best I've had in Chicago, and those are half off one day during the week(can't remember which). Each meal comes with soup and this awesome fresh baked wheat bread. Now I am not a bread-on-the-side eater. You can almost say I dislike it completely. But this bread is amazing. Their deserts are great also. They have a deep fried phyllo rolled cheesecake topped with caramel served with ice cream which is to die for. Their drinks are cheap and the dishes are filling. I highly recommend this place.

Oh Prime time! I enjoy coming here for a laid back dining experience. The bar is great and the outdoor seating always provides a great atmosphere. The servers are great, and the drinks are not bad. I like going on Wednesdays for half price appetizers, or for a quick drink with friends after work. The bread is awesome and the soup is always great. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because well, the food is pretty bad. The portions are HUGE and I find that when restaurants serve huge portions they do so to make up for the fact that the food is awful. With the exception of the appetizers (the calamari is awful) the food is bland and drenched in cheese or some kind of sauce. Fill up on apps and drinks skip the food.

We had 16 of us. Because the main dining room was filled, we were set up in a private room -- with 2 servers!! Very accommodating!!

Did you ever ask a five-year-old what they wanted to be when they grew up? One minute they may tell you "fireman," and then five minutes later, change their mind and now they want to be a "fairy princess." That's how I feel about this place. I don't think it has any idea what it really is striving to be. I guess it's a sports bar, because there are many flat-screened televisions, all tuned to different sporting events. It may be an somewhat upscale restaurant, because there are some pretty exotic and pricey things on the menu. And the decor is somewhere in between, leaning more to the restaurant side. (It is nice though, with exposed wood walls, what looks to be marble floors, and really nice seating arrangements.) We came here for a birthday celebration, about nine of us. Our server, from beginning to end was good, with the exception of her volume. The place was crowded, and we had a hard time understanding her over the background noise. For drinks, they had a $5 margarita special going on that night. The drink I had, a strawberry margarita was good. We ordered a nachos platter and some artichoke spinach dip for appetizers. Nachos were fair, and the artichoke dip could have used some spicing-up. I also had some baked French onion soup. Not a fan of the stuff here; it was country style, meaning the onions were not caramelized first. The rest of the party had the creamy spinach soup, which tasted a lot like a watered down version of the spinach dip we just had. For a main course, I had ordered the prime rib. I asked for it rare, and the waitress said that they don't do it rare, that it automatically comes medium. I was kind of perplexed, because prime rib is customarily prepared rare, and cooked more to the customers liking. Well, I ordered it anyway and was sorely disappointed. It came to me well done. I ate about half, if that ( I hate well done meat.), but enjoyed my side of mashed potatoes immensely. Deserts were pretty unmemorable. Prices here are also pretty steep for the quality. I might return for drinks and some of the more pub-friendly food on the menu, like chicken wings and burgers. But I am sadly going to have to wait until this place grows up a little and figures out what it wants to be.

Went here for a family party. We had a table of 20 but had called ahead a week in advance so they were expecting us. The restaurant was also hosting 2 other large parties of 20 plus people. The total amount of waitresses that afternoon? Less than five. We waited over an hour and a half for food that was overcooked. We also spent the majority of our time with our glasses not being refilled and half of us not even receiving a glass for a drink. When we asked the waitress for water pitchers so we could at least have water she said the restaurant had only 1 pitcher! Seriously? In a restaurant that large and you only have 1 water pitcher left? Then when we asked to see the manager she said that he was busy cooking. If you know that you are going to have 3 larger parties come in you should probably adequately staff your restaurant and have more than enough pitchers for drinks. For horrible service and mediocre food, I'd say pass! There are much better restaurants in the area than this place where you can actually expect good service and better food.

They have a greek night on Sundays and the food was as comparable to anything from Greektown. This is a fabulos place with a big patio outside in the summer. It is one of the nicer bar / resteraunt combinations you will find. The service was excellent and they have plenty of beers.

Needed somewhere new to take my mother for afternoon lunch. I wanted a new spot as we had been through the Southwest side of Chicago and nearby suburb dining desert, and was really sick of eating lousy food. That's how I came to Prime Time recently with my mother and husband. Mom ordered a rib eye steak with baked potato and garden salad. My husband ordered the chicken shish ke bob with french onion soup, and I ordered the Grecian chicken with Caesar salad. As soon as the waitress brought the soup and salads, I could tell that the motto of this establishment should be, "We don't care, and we show it." The soup was ok but tepid in temperature. The garden salad was old and tired looking with wilted lettuce, rock hard pink tomatoes, and as an added bonus, the inedible core of the lettuce was thrown in the mix. For an extra charge, the vile blue cheese dressing was poured out of a Wishbone bottle. The Caesar salad was the best of the motley lot, but it too had the core of the lettuce thrown in. I guess these lettuce cores would come in handy if we brought our pet goats with us, and wanted to give them a treat. Now for the entrees, the steak had enough meat tendernizer on it to make the texture unrecognizable and a peculiar sour taste. The shish ke bob chicken cubes were like blocks of wood, so overcooked, and were swimming in a pool of unseasoned grease. The Grecian chicken was unlike any Grecian chicken I've ever had. I make this dish at home, and include olive oil, garlic, lemon, and oregano. All were absent in this dish except a lot of tasteless grease. Coffee was ok. Dessert was ok. WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!!

The venue is nice, but I wasn't impressed by the food. The menu has your typical bar food and the food itself was pretty mediocre. My friends and I ordered a variety of things so we tried probably half the menu. I'd definitely go there to watch a game, but not for the food. My entrée came with a side of vegetables and sadly the vegetables weren't fresh. I question whether they were previously frozen. However you definitely get your money's worth as the portion sizes are good. As for the venue itself... It's a nice sports bar with a great staff. They are very attentive and friendly. There are plenty of tvs and tables and even a "party room" area. There is a small outside patio, but it's hard to have a conversation outside since there are tons of noise from the cars driving by. (The entrance for 294 is down the street so I would assume it's always loud.) And the parking lot is definitely small, but street parking is available.

This place has really gone down hill. I have been going there since they opened. It used to be great. Now it's hit & miss just like the food. We asked for water the waitress brought 2, there were five of us at the table. My friend waited for ever for a coffee refill. Then the rest of us waited forever for a drink refill. We asked for more butter it came after the bread was gone. We each had our own bill. The waitress keep all the change. Gave us our bills in change but not any of the loose change. When I questioned her she said you want the change? She went by each of us & rudely dropped the change by each of us. We were in shock. I have never been to place that does this. The food was bad. Usually you can get a great meal here. The burgers were dry, overlooked & real chewy. Not good at all. Definitely not the same burger that they used before. My friend got a small handful of fries., I got over cooked chips & the vegetables that my friend and sister got we're all soggy. How do you not see this & still serve to the customer? We told the manager. He listed & said you'll never see her again & walked away. No I ' m sorry. Now we see why the staff has attitudes. The management does.

For the prices, I've eaten far better. I've been here four times now, and I'm still not impressed, or wow'd, or anything that will make me take trip number 5. I've done lunch three times, and last was dinner. The food is average, and every time I've been, someone in our party had a significant complaint with the food. Over cooked, under cooked, lacking flavor. My food has always been an unemotional "eh... it was fine." I can spend a lot less though on "eh... it was fine" somewhere else.

Great "Greek restaurant" food. Had the Greek chicken and there was 1/2 a chicken with all the rice, olives, peppecini that you could want. Out of the eight of us 5 had cocktails and they were reasonably priced. We had steaks, filets, fried chicken and patty melts and each plate was wonderful. the portions are huge and very well plated. We will go back again and again. NIce atmosphere, handsome bar and TV's all around but not annoyingly so. Great job.

We ate at Prime time on Saturday with a group of five. We ordered the app. platter which was really good. All of us had the cream of chicken and dumpling soup and it was delicious. I had the skirt steak sandwhich and it was huge, perfectly cooked and a good cut of meat. The fries are just okay but really by the time we ate the apps, soup and sandwhich there was no room for fries anyway. The dometic beer buckets were $10 which is a great deal. Overall 5 of us ate dinners, soups, and an appitzer, 2 buckets or beer, 2 sodas, and a tall import beer and with tip it was $25 a person. They have a nice size outside area but the weather was very crappy so we will have to go back for that.

Atmosphere is fine - very nice and relaxed when I go. $10 steaks on Tuesdays. With potato, soup or salad, bread, and veggies ... my God. I've eaten sub sandwiches that were almost $10 before. Servers are very good., too.

So, if your a southwest sider you know who and what the "Les Brothers" are. The Les Brothers had a family restaurant 1 block west of 294 enterance and 95th St. They tore it down and used the property to build 2 new restaurants, the first being another family diner open for Breaskfast/Lunch. The other being Prime Time. The Facts people: Looks like a steakhouse Inside looks like a Upscale Sports Bar Service is good, waitstaff attractive Menu is extensive! (Can get anything from Burger, Steak, Pasta, Home Cooking, Greek and Salads.) Food can be Hit or Miss.. Soup is good, salad is good. Entree is the hit or miss. Who puts cheese on Chicken Vesuvio? Enough said! My Opinion is: Go, judge for yourself....It's not a waste of time and it's not a waste of money BUT....it's also a Sports Bar trying to be a Steak House without loosing their Sports Bar patrons.

Prime Time is kind of a strange place. On the surface is seems like your standard sports bar kind of place. Walls lined with TVs showing every game currently being aired in the US and maybe a couple from Canada, random memorabilia from the local teams, burgers, nachos, and sandwiches on the menu, but then a little deeper in, the place is much more like a Greek style family restaurant. Your meal is served with soup and a big loaf of bread like you'd get at a Greek family place, definitely not the norm at a sports bar. And normally at a sports bar you want to get appetizers before the main course comes, but they're just shoving too much food in your face, to begin with. The soup, wow. I got a bowl of cream of chicken which really placed a nice emphasis on the cream. It was thick and rich, nicely complimented by the occasional chunk of chicken, truly some of the best soup I've had. The bread is light and fluffy on the inside and crusty on the outside. It's all a lot nicer than you'd expect from a place like this. The burger itself was pretty good. Cooked just the way I like it, absolutely covered in cheese, and the grilled onions I asked for were piled on. As you can imagine, the bun it was on was pretty tasty too. All in all, it's a lot more than you'd expect from this kind of place. It's everything you like about a sports bar, just a tiny bit nicer. In an era when people seem to be constantly trying to give you less than what you're used to, it's nice to find a place that would rather give you a little bit more.

This place was really good, stopped there for lunch one day. Had the veggie panini, it was delicious -- huge, huge portions, enough for a dinner snack and lunch the next day. Service was great as well. I'd return in a heartbeat.

I went to primetime when it first opened and it was alright. I'm an "atmosphere" kinda dude. I love seeing tvs and big bars and big booths and a clean restaurant. So primetime had all of this. it seems like a great place to watch a game and eat good. However, i ordered their ribeye i think and it was just okay. Primetime is supposed to be known for their steaks so i was a little disappointed. Their service is good their menu isn't overwhelming and from what i remember they had good choices on their menu. I would try it again, but a friend told me she ordered some chicken wings there and she got sick the day after.

This place is solid. I don't think you could go wrong here, but I think that this place is suffering from a bit of an identity crisis. Is it a sports bar, or upscale restaurant? I guess they are trying to go for the "upscale sports bar motif" but it does not seem to work all that well. I can't quite place my finger on it but something in the decor is just "off". Speaking of off... They have a giant wall that has about 20 TVs on it. All facing in the same direction and all of them with something different on them. It started to get mildly annoying after a while. I am going to have to give major props to our server. We had a party of 9 and when we all get together, we can be quite demanding. She never dropped the ball with us. She kept our drinks coming and was very attentive and friendly. She took very good care of us. The food was decent here. We split a few appetizers: spinach artichoke dip and nachos and they hit the spot. I ordered a Philly cheese steak and it also hit the spot. It didn't knock me off my feet by any means but it did the trick.

I went here a few time since I am a huge fan of Les Brothers,, the sister location. Burgers are SUPER great there and I was told even better here.. WELL they over cooked it.. like a hockey puck and when I mentioned it to the waitress she was not sympathetic and did not apologize.. Didn't offer to remake it or give me a credit on my bill. I was there with 3 other folks so I had to wait and eat my home made potato chips which were delicious and the soup is pretty awesome there too. I will not be back for burgers, but nice atmosphere. When I want my burger fix I will go across the street.. better service and food!!

We went to Prime Time last night with 15 people for my mom's birthday and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent from the prime time appetizer platter, to the soups, to the main entrees. We had a fantastic waitress named Nicole. She was the best server that I've had in years. Props to her. She did such a great job with a large demanding group. The ribs, pork chops, veggie pannini, Philly cheesesteak, to name a few were delicious. The prices were reasonable and they also had good specials. We will definitely go back the next time we're on the south side.

Oddly decorated, well nice space, great stone and exposed wood, but all hidden behind television. At first I thought this was a steak house, but Prime time might mean TV? I don't know, they have steaks on the menu, but I was not feeling that adventurous, my daughter and I decided to split a cob salad, and a plate of calamari. My date had a burger, she said the burger was fine, as was her martini, the beer choices were typical of a South West sub- urban establishment, I went with a polish beer Tyskie, the cob salad was huge, but it was 10 bucks, avocado was skimpy and the dressing seems industrial, the rest of the salad was fine, enjoyable even. The calamari, a different story, I always here people bitching about calamari, too tough yada yada, I only order it about twice a year and it always seems fine, until this past friday. Soggy, and limp, I ate through about a quarter of the squid mush, mostly because I was famished, but then I went from famished to grossed out. The server was fine, I had explained to him I had to leave at a certain time and he made sure everything including the bill was at the table with plenty of time to spare. I told him the calamari was limp and greasy, just to school the kitchen and I was off. They have a steak special on Tuesdays, any steak for $10.99, I may try that next week, but nothing seemed Prime to me.

My husband and I have been here many times and have never had any problems. The food has always been good, service was good.....but after this last time, I doubt we will be returning. The food was just ok...not great. The worst part about this experience was the infestation of flies swarming around our table. It was discusting. Not only were these germy little things attacking us from every angle, but it had to be at least 85 degrees in the place. Maybe management is trying to conserve energy, but seriously, when you're sweating in your food, there's a problem. Our server Amanda was very nice and apologized for the flies and the fact that the wine that I ordered was not considered a "house" wine (it was half price for house wines, but apparently you need to check which ones are considered house). She is the only reason I'm giving them 3 stars instead of 2. This place is going downhill and it's very unfortunate.

Big portions (especially the club sandwich - comes with soup), good service and all the sports you can handle on a lot of TV's 1/2 price Burgers Monday $10 steaks on Tuesday,

This place is the biggest waste of time and money. I ordered the steak burger because the hostess said it was amazing, and it was far from it!. I also ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and the spicy chicken buffalo sandwich. The chicken seemed old, cheap, and tasteless. the steak burger was ordered well done and they couldn't even do that right. I don't want to begin to tell you how bad there bread and soup were. The only thing I enjoyed were the fries. Literally everything sucks at this place.

Horrible food cooks do not know what they are doing. Ordered a philly sandwich waitress bought out a sliced deli roast beef sandwich with aju sauce, told her I order a philly sandwich not a French dip sandwich, she took it back 10 min later they bring the same exact sandwich back at that point did not want to go through the hassle of returning it again felt bad for the waitress was not her fault so I kept it took one bite and it was awful! Told waitress to take it was not going to eat anymore of it not only did I still get charged for the sandwich I got charged a dollar more for it. Would not go back again if you decide to go to this place do not order a "philly" sandwich.

I love ordering the soup for pick up, and will probably continue to do so but I know I won't ever come back here to eat again. The Cobb salad was good, but their Rueben was horrible. Only a couple bites were taken out of it, and the whole thing went to waste. The server saw that we were tossing the whole sandwich out and never even questioned how we liked it. There was a manager walking around but he never went to the tables to ask how everything was. The service wasn't very good. Server never asked to refill our drinks, and it took quite a while for her to come to our table. A month or two ago when we dined out here the food wasn't great either. It's not the worst place but I wouldn't recommend!

Nothing world class, but decent food, good service, and nice layout. Ribs were tasty, soup was good. Kabobs well marinated and grilled. Better than most spots in the area, especially with their sizeable outdoor patio. I'd come back.

Me and my boyfriend stopped by here after failed attempts at 4 other restaurants who's wait time exceeded a whole hour. Thankfully, this place had lots of room, even tho the place seemed to be full as well. Our waitress was quick, polite, and attentive. My boyfriend's salmon was delicious and my Greek chicken salad was massive. For only 10$ I got what looked like half a head of lettuce and a whole chicken breast sliced into strips. I took the majority home with me. They had a 5$ martini special. My appletini was okay, but as far as appletinis go, I wasn't expecting something out of this world. I've been here a few times before and their bathrooms are always clean. Just another plus. The prices may be a bit steep, but you will end up having leftovers for tomorrow's dinner.

Prime time is my favorite restaurant on the south side. The staff is friendly, the food is great all while watching any game you can imagine on the 64568 TV's!

They certainly don't hire their waitresses for their ability or friendliness! The service was horrible. My husband and I went there for a late lunch on a Friday. Our waitress never smiled once. We had to flag her down to get a refill on our drinks. We were her only table but she evidently thought it was more important to talk to the guy at the front door than to wait on us. The food is only O.K.

Prime Time is my go to spot for hosting parties; they've accommodated several for me over the years, and management is a pleasure to work with. As for food, some of my favorites are their pizza, burgers, chicken kabobs, and wings. Their bar stays current on the craft beer game and the patio is a great spot to enjoy. Much love for PT ownership and staff!

Okay so this is a bar with $10 Tuesday steak. It's exactly that. Just that. A bar. And steak on Tuesdays. I finished my steak and it was good. I won't go back but I would tell my buddies in the area about it. Shoot, it is a bar with steak!! $10 steak on Tuesday! :)

Wasn't expecting to find good food in the burbs, but glad to find this place! I had the salmon salad, and it had a nice glaze and was cooked to perfection. I stole the basked sweet potato from my dinner date. While it was a nice change from what's usually offered in the suburbs, but it could maybe use a little seasoning. If I am stuck on the south side again, I'll be checking this place out.

Half price days during the week... just lots of rules apply to get the deal... just ok.. nothing big... You get better food from the pit.

When they first opened the food was excellent and the portion size was huge. (Which justified the prices for me). Now they are overcharging for mediocre food. I have always ordered the cheese fries as an appetizer. It had so many toppings on it and it was delicious. Last time it was mainly scallions and salt. I am a bit disappointed. The appearance is nice but the food has to get back to what it was when they first opened.

Our group and I went there after coming back from the airport after a trip. It wasn't really all that busy when we were there. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and some food .We ordered some calamari and some buffalo shrimp. The calamari was undercooked but we still ate it. The buffalo shrimp came stone cold. Seemed like it was in a freezer and they forgot to reheat it or something. I told the waitress that we don't want it so she said its fine and took it away. When the bill came later on she told us that her boss wants us to pay for it because we ate some of them. Well we were in a big group, and yes some of us had to take some to find out that it was cold in the first place. The service overall was pretty bad and when the manager wanted us to pay for the shrimp that was just too much. We will never be there ever again.

I came here for my 18th birthday, and to say the least, I absolutely loved this place. We sat outside. Since my birthday was on a Wednesday, we just so happened seen that there was a "half-off Wednesday" for appetizers and starters. We ordered every single appetizer on the menu. They were $4 or less! Mozzarella sticks: cheesy, bread wasn't too greasy - $3.50 Flaming cheese: not too greasy, best I've ever had - $4.00 Pizza: crust wasn't hard but wasn't soft, thickness was perfect, sauce tasted original and not too thick - $7.00 for a large w/ 2 toppings Those were my favorites; they tasted so amazing! The customer service was impeccable. The waitress, Jessica, attended to our every need, and she smiled and made us feel welcomed. When we were done eating, about 4 of the girls came and sang happy birthday to me with a bowl of ice cream and a candle. It was the cutest thing in the entire world! I had an amazing time being here. My family also enjoyed it as much as me. We will definitely be coming back!

Great sports bar! Lots of nice people and huge beer selection. Tons of tvs, tons of seating, excellent service and a huge menu! Some hints: greek style chicken wings, greek style shrimp. Excellent daily promotions! Love it. This is our default go-to bar in the burbs now.

Have been here a few times with great service and food/drinks! Tonight was different. The steak quesadillas (that I've had before) were extremely fatty. I did not even finish one of the four they give you. I also had a tall beer, realized about half way there was a bug inside. The waitress asked the manager to take it off, he said no!! Only offered a replacement. I was done with the attempt to eat I did not want a drink! I don't see myself returning any time soon!!

My wife ate there tonight. She had the Greek salad. It was huge and she almost finished it. I had the steak and shrimp which came with your choice of soup or salad (I had the French onion soup) and a baked potato. Unless you have bad taste buds, you do not need steak sauce or ketchup. Medium rare was a knock out. Flavorful and tender. Well worth the money. The service staff was great and attentive but jumping into action interrupting your meal or conversation.

Surprised on the reviews this place got. I've been to prime time probably 5times and each time i have not been disappointed. The place is super clean (bathrooms also) the staff are nice. The portions are really big, at least to share or take home for lunch the next day. Soup is AWESOME and there croissant sandwiches are soooo good! oh and i almost forgot try there carrot cake DELICIOUS seriously the best I've had yet. I've tried there pasta dishes nothing crazy good bc i cant even remb what i had. Eventually ill get to trying other items but i usually like to stick to what i know is good especially when im hungry! ;-) Overall, they have a great menu lots to choose from, prices are very reasonable. Great place for just drink or dinner and drinks!

I've been to quite a few sports bars in Chicago. i have to say this one has to be one of the worst. The bartender took our order. Two Margaritia's, a Jack and Coke . What we received was a complete joke. The Margaritas tasted lime juice mixed with Gatorade and the Jack and Coke tasted like RC Cola. Every round we continued to send the drinks back.If the bartenders aren't bs'ing with the waitresses their at the end of the bar flirting with their BF's. Don't waste you time going to this place.

Better than Cheers ! Feel like family. The Greek chicken is to die for! The ribs are delicious! And the way Nick serves birthday cake is awesome! The staff is great and the overall cleanliness is great! I enjoy karaoke on Thursday's and football Sunday's! Lots of TV's and great halftime spread! What can I say.... I live here and love everything about the place!!!!!!

The good points first: + Clean restaurant + TV screens all over so good for those who want to eat & watch sports The good points end here. Now, for the bad: Been here several times. This is one of my in-laws' favorite restaurants. I'm not really impressed with the food but I would go with them to this restaurant out of respect. Like other Yelpers say: bland food. A colleague also had her retirement party here. Not so impressed with the service. 1) A co-worker arranged everything for the retiree and her friends. The day of the party, we find out that we did not have the private room. Restaurant staff claimed that my co-worker never specified to get the private room so they booked it for another party. Double checked with the co-worker and she said she specified she wanted the party room. Why plan a retirement party and not get the private room? Sigh. 2) Everyone pitched in to get unlimited pizza, appetizers, salad, and soda. The day of the party, staff said that we were only limited to 4 pizzas. Really? For 20+ people? My co-worker complained and staff finally acquiesced. It was a pain-in-the-butt arranging this party with them. You had to BEG for everything that you paid for. Staff should probably think about having a WRITTEN AGREEMENT between the restaurant and customer. That way, they don't forget what they promised to customers. BLAND FOOD + BLAH SERVICE = NO THANKS.

Nice place for a late-night dinner. Big menu with prices for people with modest (or not) budgets (I had soup and salad with their wonderful hit bread). Large portions: you will probably exit with leftovers. Note: they serve prime rib, and it looks delicious. Full bar; the bar itself is separate from the dining area. Some of our party ordered a Rusty Nail, an older drink, and one of the bar staff came out to confirm the recipe of the drink (scotch and Drambuie). I was impressed by this. The staff dealt with our 10 orders very efficiently; I was favorably impressed. There is a party room available as well as an outdoor patio. Noise is a slight problem if you want to conduct a conversation - or at least it was last night. I am sure I will be back, and looking forward to my next visit.

Went here for the first time a month ago and have been back twice since. The lamp chops are to die for. Even the bread they bring out is good. I especially liked the drink specials they have available everyday. I recommend giving this restaurant a try

Went in here with the wife for a bruski. The inside looked real nice; we sat at the bar. I placed my arms on the counter and it felt sticky, not fun. Ordered a beer and the tall glass had dirty residue or whatever you want to call it. Ordered the burger appetizer, it was okay. Service was somewhat mediocre. I will not come back. If you cannot bother to wash your dishes properly, who knows what else there is.

Great place. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Started coning here about 6 months ago. Nice bar area with good drink selection. I usually get the burger or steak. I think the same people own les brothers breakfast right across the street. Owners are very friendly and place us kid friendly also. Glad we found this place. Here right now as I'm typing this.

This is really more of a 3.5 star but the friendly staff bumps it to a 4 for me. We thought this was a sports bar so we went to watch college football. We sat at the bar but I'm not really sure if this place is a sports bar? They have a ton of TV's everywhere but instead of playing the sound for a big game they have music on. It just didn't really have a sports bar feel to me. I was starving and ordered a ton of food. I had a salad with bread and cinnamon butter, tilapia with spinach and cheesecake. Everything was really good. The tilapia was salty though. My feet were swollen by the end of the night (I'm sensitive to excess salt though). The spinach really shocked me though. It was excellent. The bartender was great! He really made our night. I can't remember his name but he was a sweetheart. I won't hesitate to stop in here for food and drinks again. I may just think twice about it if I had my heart set on a specific game.

This is our go to when we don't know what we want for dinner but want to go out. It has a good variety of things on the menu so we can always find something that sounds good. They have a lot of beer choices, which we always appreciate. Their chicken tenders are delicious - the breading isn't thick and crunchy and the ranch is yummy. My go to meal here is the fajitas - so good and I usually have left overs. I like to come here on Tuesdays because they have stuffed pepper soup - it is SO GOOD. The rolls & butter are also delicious. Just a great place all around.

Absolutely worst service ever received. Arrived on a Wednesday at 4 absolutely empty inside began to fill up about and hour later after I had placed my order for 12 boneless wings. Waitress was very rude and did not address the problem kept telling five more minutes. My whole family received their food and dessert. Needless to say cancelled my order and will NOT be going back which is unfortunate because I usually look forward to going here. Also strong smell of cigarettes while sitting INSIDE.

Nice spot for a late night bite. Wait staff and owners are friendly. The place has TVs everywhere, parking looks small if you are not from area but they Also own Les Brothers Pancake house and allow customers to park there. They always have specials going on food. Portions are huge, I always order southwest chicken salad which bigger and better than cheesecake factory's . If you are in area it's worth a visit.

This place is just okay. Nothing more nothing less. It seems to me that their food is missing something. Very very bland. We only go here if we can't think of anything else to eat which is rare. I did give it an extra star for the drinks which are always good and cheap.

  • Deshaunte H.

Forewarning: I didn't actually eat here. My friends got food, it was decently priced & they seemed to enjoy it. Their menu is more extensive than typical bar food. Overall, the atmosphere was nice & it was the perfect place to grab food & have drinks with a group. It's pretty spacious, with different sections, so you don't feel imposed on by the crowd sitting @ the bar. I'm giving it 4 stars because although the drinks were pretty reasonably priced, they were really weak. But they have great drink specials, so idk, maybe that evens it out for some.

So I get it. I'm young black girl. But I do know my food and how I should be treated at a restaurant. First, I was sat all the way in the back away from most people. Though I didn't mind, I wasn't feeling to peoplely anyway. Anywho, I just sit down and my waitress comes almost immediately and asked me what would I like....umm I don't know I just got my menu. She said ok and was about to leave, I had to stop her and ask could I have some water? Oooohhhh sure, and left me... Please don't ask me her name because she never told me *shrugs*. Came back with my water and yes I finally knew what I wanted. I got the sampler platter and an iced tea (had no idea it was unsweetened the menu didn't say, but eh, I wasn't really up for sweets today). First let me say....if that menu didn't look bootleg like I was in the hood, then I don't know what hood is....it was all over the place. Heck, I could eat around the world in there. Though I would not not... I got my sampler, waitress just got my food and left. No, can I get you anything else, nada. So, I'm trying my sampler, mozzarella sticks were bomb! How can you screw up cheese sticks? I don't know, but they did them right. Chicken wings, cool, though I did ask for mild sauce and they seemed a bit (well a lot) on the hotter side. Here's where we get to my problem and me rating them 3 stars.... The potato skins were HORRIBLE! Like I get it you put bacon and cheese on them, but can a sister get some seasoning??? Some salt and pepper? Something? I mean those thing were bland! Well not really bland since I could taste whatever has been fried before my skins on them. And they were almost burnt! I love anything that has to do with the potato (except potato salad....ew) and when I see them misused of disrespected...it hurts my soul! Then there were the ribs, they were cold and tasted like they were heated up in the microwave.....sauce was great...but the ribs, no! All in all I'm never coming back here. I got semi-decent service which made me feel like crap, and the food was horrid.

Definitely not impressed with Prime Time. My friend decided to have her birthday dinner here so there was about 12 of us at the table. She made reservations ahead of time to get a big enough table and we had no problem when we got in. We sat at a table in the back in a separate room. Now being a bit of a beer snob, I immediately looked for the beers when the drink menu was passed to me. I knew they probably weren't going to have the biggest selection by the looks of the place, but I expected at least a few good options. Nada. Nothing. Just your generic domestics and imports. Their only "crafts" were Blue Moon, 312, and Summer Shandy, which I absolutely loathe. Boo. I decided on a mojito, and only had one, as they don't list the prices on the menu. The food was nothing to write home about either. I agree with the review that says they don't know what this place was trying to be. Upon entering, I feel like it's one of those nicer bar fare type places, because they have a ton of screens with various games on and a bunch of sports paraphernalia on the walls. Not so. They have one burger option and the rest is hot and cold sandwiches, salads, steak, and pastas. Kind of American, kind of Italian. I got the burger because I felt it was the safest option. The burger comes with a soup, which is a bit odd. For $1.50 more, you can get the French Onion. I have no idea why there is an additional charge. I got that, though, because the standard options were Clam Chowder and some spicy soup. It took about half hour to just get the soup. I know we had a big party, but I feel like that was too long to wait. The soup was just okay. Nothing special. Finally our food came. My burger wasn't that great.. The meat didn't taste too fresh and I only ended up eating half of it. They also completely forgot about one of our friend's meals. Everyone received their food except her. The waitress went to investigate and the kitchen just gave her plate to someone else, forgetting it was with our order. They had to remake it and she got her food when we were almost done (she didn't want us to wait). The waitress was nice, even though she forgot to give one of our friend's their change back. My drink was also good so for these reasons, I give it two stars. Otherwise, it's completely lackluster and I don't see myself coming back.

We haven't been back to Prime Time for a while. We decided to go again and have a little bite to eat. Me and my wife split the fish tacos and had a beer each. The bill was under 20 bucks. That is crazy! I spend that on a crappy lunch sometimes. The waitress was pretty new but she was very nice. They have a decent selection of craft beers now. Big plus for me. Went again last night with the family after Easter mass. Didn't know they serve the full menu until 1:00 am. That is awesome! Had a taste for nachos so we split them and the kids got chicken wraps. They came with soup and they were the size of a huge burrito. They could have split one and still had leftovers. Everything was delicious! Monica was a sweetheart. The bill again was really reasonable. They had an acoustic band playing some good music. I am rethinking Prime Time. This maybe our new go to. As long as the staff treats me good I will keep going back. Prices are great, food is great, they have craft beer, outside dining and a great inside atmosphere. The only turnoff for me was the rude wait staff. Seems they addressed that. Be back soon.
